This was such a great jumping off point. They have now moved into a different book, but it has really helped them understand numbers better. Thank you so much. We have 3 different math teachers who spent a little bit of time going over how to think in tens, etc. and we have met with incredible success. My daughter can do multiplication faster than her teacher now! One of my students, after teaching "steppin' up" for subtraction, said that he had never understood how to do subtraction before. He is a little older, and has struggled with math for a long time. It was exciting for both of us.

I highly recommend "Wiz Kid: A Mind-Blowing Exploration into Short-Cut Arithmetic" as a tool to help people be less overwhelmed, and to see the beauty and simplicity of mathematics.

Hi Joe,

I was just reviewing the Wiz Kid Calculus ebook and I absolutely LOVE IT!  It is so easy to follow. I have my 1^st test coming up on 2/22 so I am trying to study ahead of time. I am sure I will definitely do better now.  One thing, if you recall I purchased the algebra series Wiz Kid Algebracadabra in a bundle.  I now see that you have the Ultimate Collection too. I know that I will benefit from all your ebooks. I am hoping that there is some way to pay for the difference so I can have the Ultimate Collection.  Honestly, they are a must have for me.

"Opening Your Mind To Math" Love this book!!! I purchased this book for my younger sister who struggles with math and she has benefitted enormously from reading this book. I recently bought this book for my son who wasn't doing too well in math. The tricks the author teaches in this book are nothing short of amazing. I can already see my son doing math computations faster, and without a calculator. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would like to become better at math.

Finally a book about math that makes sense
I'm sure there are many people of all ages that can relate to my math illiteracy, and we all know what a struggle it can be to grasp even the simplest of math concepts. I can't believe how this book breaks math down in ways that seem easy for everyone to understand. I'm a college student and I found this book very useful;  I just wish I had it when I was learning fractions and algebra in middle school. I can't wait for the next book by this author, who seems to know exactly how to make math less intimidating and even enjoyable.
