• I actually looked forward to meeting each week with my teacher and mentor Joe Pagano to study for my college courses.  I was challenged to do the best I could and he kept me focused and on task. His clear and innovative approach led me to get all A’s.  The bottom line is I really benefited from his skillful and easy to learn approaches to studying.  He kept me both engaged and focused, and helped me to feel confident.

• He's excellent.  His style of teaching is good; he has a lot of tricks that can help you solve the problems, such as the "light switch" and he told us that he was there for us and that no question was a dumb one.
   
• He is a great teacher and he explains things so well.  He was the first teacher that made me think outside the problems that we were doing. 
   
• I'm not sure if I did poorly to get in this class or it had something to do with me transferring from another school, but I had passed Algebra I in 8th grade.  A situation like this will often make me susceptible to getting bored easily.  Joe's enthusiasm definitely kept me on track.
