About Joe Pagano
Joe is an award-winning former teacher of both college and high school mathematics. Writer, learning coach, consultant, and inspirational speaker and motivator, Joe endeavors to spread his teaching philosophy through his articles and books and is dedicated to helping educate children living in impoverished countries. Toward this end, he donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every ebook.
Joe is a prolific writer of self-help and educational material and has produced dozens of articles on various topics (he has achieved platinum status and is considered an expert author by one of the leading ezines on the world-wide web). His articles range broadly over a number of topics including but not limited to mathematics, faith, inspiration, self-help, and motivation. Under the penname JC Page, Joe authored Arithmetic Magic, and as a result of this publication, he was invited to be a guest on the television show the Book Authority. Because of his extensive experience and world-wide acclaim, Joe was recently placed on the advisory board of a company with a revolutionary concept in education (see The Gamingkrib).
Joe is the creator and author of the Wiz Kid series, which includes the sensational math ebooks Wiz Kid: A Mind-Blowing Exploration into Short-cut Arithmetic and Wiz Kid Calculus: A Play about Math. His other ebooks include Fractions for the Faint of Heart, which shows how to slay those dragons called fractions; the charmingly pithy and popular ebook, Making a Good Impression Everytime: The Secret to Instant Popularity, which reveals the seven keys to gaining instant popularity; the seminal collection of verse, Poems for the Mathematically Insecure, which teaches a number of valuable math lessons (often in a humorous way) and even demonstrates famous proofs in both free and formal verse; and the creator and scriptwriter of an upcoming DVD series that is both visionary and highly educational. The diverse genre of his writings (novel, short story, essay, script, poetry, and play)—particularly in regard to its educational flavor— continues to captivate readers and to earn him recognition.
Joe’s inspirational writings integrate the concepts of mathematics and faith and essentially show how one is inseparable from the other. Without getting too metaphysical, his writings help span the gorge of mathematical difficulty in many different areas of this field. His novel teaching methods and creative techniques help students understand mathematics on a personal and more intimate level. To this approach, Joe attributes the high level of academic success achieved in working with students and learners from all levels. Moreover, by infusing fun into the learning process, Joe instills in his students a love for mathematics, and this ultimately leads to a higher appreciation of this most difficult subject.
