When I received the email and started reading it, I thought it was just another spam email. The email started talking about things that make people mad and pet peeves. After reading the first sentence, I started thinking to myself, "What does this have to do with me and mathematics?" Then I read the next sentence, just smiled, and said, "Aha!"
That's right. In the next sentence the reporter started explaining how each week the news station did a feature on what makes people mad. Now that the holiday season is here, people will be spending a lot of time at the malls. And one thing that makes people mad is---yes, mall parking.
And guess who wrote a mathematical article (actually two---Part I and II) on this topic? That's right. And because of all the articles published on the net, as well as the effort of my consultant in optimizing the site, it appears that www.mathbyjoe.com is setting the stage to be a force to be reckoned with on the worldwide web.
In the next newsletter, I will let you know the outcome of the story. God-willing the exposure will be nationwide and more people will find out about the merits of this educationally content-laden site. In the meantime be sure to tell others, and don't forget to check out the new articles which are popping up daily; as well as new features like "Problem of the Week."
